September 30, 2004

My friend Nick came over last Saturday so we could hang out and party it up, like two twenty-somethings should. The night went pretty good until Nick started throwing up in the wee hours of the morning at my house. The only problem was that he wasn't expunging the toxins he had consumed earlier that evening, but rather, it was his body's way of protecting itself from salmonella poisoning.

Yes, earlier in the day Nick walked (like 10 miles) to get some Chinese food. Apparently, one of the cooks accidentally touched some uncooked dog and accidentally contaminated Nick's food, in turn "salmonelling" Nick. Nick is still sick and has been throwing up for 5 days. He says it should be gone pretty soon, so that is good, but seriously, I only thought salmonella poisoning only existed in news reports and on Lysol commercials. Wish Nick well everyone. I think he reads this site.
